
MosFilmFest is an international film competition, with monthly live screenings and an annual awards event in Moscow.
MosFilmFest is an organization devoted to showcasing the best and brightest films from around the globe, advancing the careers of filmmakers through screenings, networking events, and various panel and forums. Categories include Narrative, Animation, Documentary, Music Video, Experimental and Student Shorts.
MosFilmFest is an avid supporter of local and international filmmakers representing cinematic productions that embody the true spirit of the art. From classic or original scripts to new cinematography and film techniques, each and every piece is the result of true emotion and expression.

All best films that were selected for the screening, will be shown on the big screen during the solemn final ceremony on September 21 – 24, 2023 in Moscow, Russia and will be able to struggle for the main prize and the title of the “Best film”. As well as for the prizes in the standalone nominations.

Festival President Valery Shanin

Valery Shanin — journalist, writer and filmmaker, producer of TV programs on the Ocean-TV channel, director of “Valery Shanin’s film club”, resident of “TRAVEL FilmFest International Film Festival”, director of “Gelos Comedy Film Festival” and “Ambrosia Food & Drink Film Festival”.
Head of Programming Slava Krasko
Slava was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, made a career as a financier and when he was 35 years old left the business to go on a round-the-world trip. He described his impressions of the trip in the book “The Year of Spring”. In 2014, Slava traveled by motorcycle across South America on the route of Ernesto Che Guevara and shot a documentary about it. Since 2017 he has been studying at the Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors in Moscow.
Assistant of program director Nika Mitrofanova

At school she studied in the theater class. At the Russian State Humanitarian University for the Humanities she studied theater and film criticism, the history of theater and cinema. In university theater club she worked as a stage designer and screenwriter. Now at the Youth Center she organizes events, concerts and thematic meetings, leads a theater group for children.
Director Irina Spirina

Irina Spirina – professional psychologist, coach, theta-healing instructor, graduated from the Erickson Coaching University, worked at the Moscow Training Center, has authored self-development courses, and has been organizing international film festivals since 2016.
